Time's up. Pretty disheartening to see how few actually read this thread.

Considering there were over 100 views and only a handful of responses you could be optimistic and assume everyone was more interested in beating the boss than in winning 500g.

The eternal optimist. I tend to agree. Three cheers for Bloodgore! Although, the extra loot would have been nice (the eternal realist).

A few more pulls and we should have this.

Once the bone spikes started going down as they should, we ran into some other minor issues.

Quick summary of the big ones:

1) Don't wander too far away during WW phase and make sure you're back in range of the tanks to heal them (or to be healed if you are bone spiked) as soon as he is picked up by the tanks.

- This one improved greatly as the night went on.

2) Stopping dps to sidestep the fire patches.

- This one improved as well. More dps was staying alive.

3) (This one is for the healers) Prioritizing finishing that critical heal cast or stopping the cast on the tank (who may very well die if he does not get that heal) or moving out of the fire before YOU die.

- This one sucks and really comes down to being more lucky than skillful. It sucks even more if you know another tank healer is bone spiked and you just have to cast that heal even though standing in the fire may kill you.
Last night we tried the "Are you really a guy" strat with pretty good success.

It's simply a method where everyone stacks up right on his rear as if checking out his junk. If you're within the red targetting circle, you don't get targetted by Cold Flame, and it makes killing the Bone Spikes very easy.
I tanked it with Vordin, and we ate all of the Cold Flames, I'm pretty sure that if we scoot forward more, we can avoid it too, but I was nervous about trying that without someone (aka a Hunter), at range to be the target. For the 25-man, I think we should try it. Killa will just be doing a lot of running around.

For the Bone Storms, everyone needs to spread out a few seconds before he spins, and the tanks stay put in center. Everyone makes sure they aren't in between Bonehead and the tanks, and they stop dps before the 4th stop. Get out of the Flames! They don't start DPS until everyone is repositioned. Killa will need to yell in Vent if he gets Spiked.

That's it...
Np. Should I stay just far enough away for my ranged, or stand back at a distance to have a better view of the oncoming flames?

It will depend on if the tanks can get close enough to avoid the Cold Flame or not, and your reaction speed. If the tanks still get targetted, you will only get it 1 out of 4. Either way, stay as far back as you need to not get hit by it. If you can shoot him occasionally, all the better.
Thanks. Will do.

Gratz Thunder on winning the raffle for posting in page 1 of this thread. Your 500g is in the mail.

Thanks, Nick. I had forgot that you put up a bounty for replying to this thread by a certain timeframe. Of course we probably all thought that we'd hav downed Lord M. before this point. Hey we got him down and time to move on!

Well done all, lets take it to Lady D. this week too!

Is this thing on?
Our fine-tuned strat worked to perfection. Gratz everybody! Killa got a good work-out too running his ass around... If anyone saw where I was (when dps'ing the boss); that's as close as I could get for my ranged. At any rate, wow, being away from the main group must have pissed him off, as I was bone-spiked more often than not. I could just use my sweet melee next time.

There was one Bone Spike where Gamma, Vordin, and Mori all got impaled together. Before I could even start to cry, 2 were free.

And umm... the Bone Storm damage may be fairly trivial, but if you're not in plate, please don't stand in it. The closer he is to you, the more damage you take.

While I'm not a fan of the stack under his butt strat, it got the job done. Me being the team player that I am, will have to learn to adjust to it.
